Trump expresses more frustration over Russia investigation

President Donald Trump blasted former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Twitter after expressing frustration with reports that he is under investigation for potential obstruction of justice.

He also raised questions about Clinton's family and, quote - "Dems dealing with Russian Federation".

Trump criticized reports June 15 that he was now the subject of Mueller's investigation.

But Senate investigators continue to press other top officials of the U.S. Intelligence Community for details about their own recent contacts with President Trump, which have been reported to include appeals to help end the Federal Bureau of Investigation probe of Russian election meddling.

On Wednesday night, the latest twist in the story was revealed to be that the president is now under investigation for possible obstruction of justice.

But at the White House today, spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders acknowledged to reporters that Mueller had been at the White House - just the day before he was appointed as Special Counsel, as she said it was a job interview.

Trump responded to reports he is personally being investigated for obstruction of justice with a characteristic scorched earth defense: claiming mistreatment of historic proportions and calling into question the probity of his accusers.

Negotiations between Montreal GM Marc Bergevin and Allan Walsh, Drouin's agent, came together in less than two hours. The Montreal Canadiens have acquired forward Jonathan Drouin from the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Shortly afterward, Trump wrote: "Crooked H destroyed phones with hammer, "bleached" emails, and had husband meet with AG days before she was cleared- and they talk about obstruction?"

"They made up a phony collusion with the Russian Federation story, found zero proof, so now they go for obstruction of justice on the phony story".

Not stopping there, Donald Trump went back on the attack in a follow-up tweet, once against smearing Hillary Clinton in the process.

The ousted FBI director, while offering testimony in front of congress, confirmed Trump asked him to end an investigation into former National Security adviser Mike Flynn.

The probe into Trump was sparked in part by the sudden dismissal of FBI Director James Comey. In an earlier tweet, he called it a massive "witch hunt". "Nice", he tweeted overnight.
