Cavs' best effort not good enough to beat the Warriors

The heartache, as much as the addition of star forward Durant, has made the Warriors all the more stronger now, even in snatching defeat from victory's jaws a year ago. James played 45 minutes and nearly the entire second half.

No team in NBA playoff history has ever rallied from a 3-0 deficit to win a series, although the Cavaliers did become the first team in NBA Finals history to rally from a 3-1 hole to swipe the crown over Golden State past year. Their combined 77 points was the most by a duo in a loss in Finals history, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

The Cavs' 113-107 lead with 3:09 remaining seemed somewhat safe until Durant and the Warriors got it going, scoring nine in a row to take the lead for good. It appeared to be the Cavs night as seemingly every shot went in.

"It's so hard to say, but for me personally, I gave everything I had, so win, lose or draw you live with the results". "So even when you're playing well, you've got to play like A-plus-plus".

Problem is, there's nothing there that'll change what happens next.

The Cavaliers' 137 total points were also the most by any team in Finals history when facing elimination. Kyrie Irving poured in 38 in 44 minutes.

Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant faced plenty of backlash a year ago when he joined a ready-made title contender but has proven that he is not simply along for the ride as he closes in on a maiden National Basketball Association championship. "Tomorrow's another important opportunity for us and for myself, obviously, to continue the series", said James, who had a game-high 39 points in the game three loss.

The Good Friday Agreement was a major development in the peace process of the 1990s that brought peace to the region after decades of conflict.

This was made possible behind some late-game heroics from Kevin Durant, who scored his team's final eight points in the last minute as part of an 11-0 run. LeBron is as well conditioned an athlete as there is on the planet, but he's human, you can't ask him to run the offense on one end then guard Kevin Durant/Draymond Green on the other and not see a drop-off. The Warriors added Durant last summer and made themselves unbeatable.

Durant scored 14 points in the 4th quarter including the game winning three to give the Dubs a 118-113 victory.

"K.D. made some huge plays down the stretch", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said.

"There have been times throughout my career where I played teams that were just in the midst of something that can last for a long time".

They will again have to rewrite the record books if they can recover this position, but with the Warriors seeking revenge for past year that will be some ask.

"It's not over", Durant insisted. No NBA team has ever rallied from a 3-0 deficit to win a playoff series, let alone the Finals.

If the Warriors win Game 4, it will be the third year in a row, that the victor of the Warriors-Cavaliers Finals wins the deciding match away from home. The Warriors' 15 straight Playoff wins are a postseason record in the four major professional team sports, breaking the mark of the National Hockey League franchise Pittsburgh Penguins from 1992 and 1993 (14).
